What is color therapy in naturopathy?

What is color therapy in naturopathy?

My dear Friends, the wonderful world of colors is scattered in every particle of the universe. They fill human life with colors and make it interesting and lively. In contact with nature, these colors create a rainbow of colors in life. If we imagine life without colors, nothing remains except extreme darkness. This colorful world of colors has its own language and science. By understanding which we can improve our personality. Colors have their own nature and properties. If they can be adopted properly, then our physical, mental, emotional life can be kept more healthy and balanced.

What is color therapy in naturopathy?, science of color, color therapy for anxiety and depression, what does color therapy do?, psychology of colors.

Science of colours

Colours have a deep relation with light. In this too, the sun is the most natural source of light. Due to the creation of seven rays of seven colours, it is also called sapta rasmi. Light is made up of seven colours which we can see through a prism. In physics, a specific word for this is vibgyor which represents violet, sky blue, blue, green, yellow, orange and red colour. The truth is that an object does not actually have any specific colour of its own. What will be its colour depends on the reflection of the light falling on it. When the rays of light fall on an object, it reflects from the object and hits our eyes and we see that object. Now the colour of the object depends on whether it absorbs any of the seven colours present in the light and reflects which one. When the object absorbs all the colours, it appears black to us. When it reflects all the colours, that object appears white to us. When it changes any one colour, it appears of that colour.

Psychology of colours

Friends, seeing the effect of colours on the mental state of a person, colour therapy is being used in the field of psychology today. Colour psychotherapist Dorothy Run believes that orange and light yellow colours instill new hope in a person and make a person's thinking more clear. Dorothy says that many people make more mistakes only because they use black colour more. However, she accepts that black colour has become more popular in fashion today and many people look more attractive by wearing it. She says that people who like black colour more are mostly unhappy and isolated from others.

A person's liking for a particular colour tells about his nature. Very sociable and social people decorate their rooms with bright colours and wear bright coloured clothes. Whereas, calm and introverted people like brown, muddy or white colour. We can take more advantage of colours by taking necessary precautions according to their properties and their effect on body and emotions. When a person is feeling lazy and lethargic or is very disappointed and frustrated, he can try the amazing effect of colours and infuse energy and freshness in himself. Red coloured clothes give a feeling of liveliness and agility. When one is feeling cold, wearing red coloured gloves, socks, clothes reduces the cold. If it is very hot or one gets angry a lot, then this colour should be avoided. It is more appropriate to use blue cool colours in the bedroom. It does not feel hot because red colour encourages insomnia. In this way, we can add colours to our life and remain more happy and healthy by selecting colours according to our nature, interest and requirement. Psychological importance of colours in life
